Symphonie d'Amour

"Symphonie d’Amour " is a series of emotional poetry and watercolors celebrating romantic love, supported by paintings. It embodies the song of notes, the resonance of colors, and the intoxication of poetic words, a fusion within my work's theme of love.
The interplay of pastel, watercolor, oil, acrylic, music, photography, and poetry often involves squares framed within circles, both visible and invisible, encouraging viewers to connect with their subconscious.
Fluid vectors of light's pigments entwine with fragrant essences in a wave of high-frequency harmonics, where each canvas resonates with its unique poetry and melody.
Stemming from an emotional void filled by sacred art resonating with divine emotions, vivid colors and almost naive symbolic lines welcome our inner child.
At my work's core is Love, celebrated in a symphony of poems, music, and photography in a namesake book. Thanks to Josette Combe's support, my first "Symphonie d’Amour" exhibition took place in Clans in 2005, an unforgettable moment of sharing and friendship.

What is more beautiful, more thrilling, more exhilarating, more wonderful than Love? How many of us have truly succeeded in finding our soulmate, becoming one with them in the sharing of infinite joy, the kind that gives wings?

"Symphony of Love" is a work imbued with this quest. Its poems revolve around the feeling of love, its joys, its passions, but also its sorrows and its torments. They make us relive with intensity all the sacred moments that made our adolescent hearts beat.

Here are a few excerpts to later inspire you to read the work, which features a specially dedicated watercolor, called Coeurette, alongside each poem. To be read together or alone, just to remember and resonate once more.

My Wonderful Love

By painting you endlessly, by praying tirelessly
Thinking only of you to the point of forgetting myself
I have finally found you, my wonderful Love

Emphasize the time

Without uttering a word, without speaking of ourselves

I see your gaze lost in love

Let us melt into each other's arms and stay there forever
Just to see us emphasize the time

Tell you, I love you

How can I tell you how much I love you without seeming outdated?
I have the desire to distill day after day the words of Love that resonate within me like a drum, illuminating my entire heart.
I have the desire to tell you everything without the modesty of conventions,
like the pure heart of that child who ignored the "be careful" signs.
I want to show myself to you, bare.
