Les Coeurettes (2000-2011)

Symphonie d'Amour

The year 2000 was a time of abundant opportunities and creativity for me.

After a challenging separation and on the brink of a new century, I undertook the project of relocating to the south of France to embark on a new chapter of life, set against a backdrop of Peace, Love, and Joy.

During a sabbatical year, time seemed to stand still, allowing me to fulfill my dream of settling on the French Riviera, in the County of Nice, which had captivated me 15 years earlier.

"Feel the Peace within to create"

Once there, I was able to recharge, rediscover my inner paths, those that lead to the heart, and understand what truly made me happy in this world.

I was able to feel and live the peace within me. Everything then came to me more easily and clearly into consciousness, and I felt an imperative need to express what I felt through sketches, poems, music.

Picasso

A few months later, the exhibition of Picasso Erotica at the Grand Palais in Paris in April 2001 was a true revelation for me.

The vision of these works showed me the way. From that moment on, nothing and no one could stop the flow of my expression and imagination, not even the conventional limits set by my mind.

All the drawings and watercolors I had previously created then took on another dimension and encouraged me to share them with the world.

From there emerged a series of paintings and poems revolving around love, its joys, sorrows, torments, and passions.

Quickly, the idea of creating a work combining images and poetry germinated, which I titled Symphony of Love, and I will share some excerpts with you a little further on.
